Every month I look forward to one thing: Receiving my monthly Birchbox! Well today was the day that I received my May birchbox. Birchbox is like Christmas every month. It is a surprise each month as to what you will receive because a birchbox is different for everyone.
For May, I received the following items:
1. Amika-Obliphica Nourishing Mask (for hair)
2. Beauty Protector-Protect & Detangle (for hair)
3. Isaac Mizrahi-Fabulous Eau de Parfum
4. Supergoop!-Daily Correct SPF 35 CC Cream
5. Whish-Shave Crave Shaving Cream
6. Amika-Obliphica Hair Treatment
I can’t wait to try all the products out! The shaving cream by Whish I’ve heard about (it being amazing) and have been wanting to try it so I squealed with excitment when I saw it in my birchbox. I used it today and it was awesome! Didn’t leave my legs dry and I love the blueberry scent. I am definately going to purchase it in full size. This is the only product I’ve tried (it has only been less than 24 hours since receiving in the mail) so far. I’ve heard a lot about CC cream (the new BB cream). I’ve heard some CC creams don’t cover as well, but Supergoop! is an awesome brand so I have high hopes for it. I’m thinking since it is a little shearer than BB cream it could be a good thing to use at the beach or pool since it offers some coverage but always has SPF 35 in it too!
I’ll be trying out the hair treatment products and will post a review as soon as I do. In the meantime, here are a pics of my birchbox and the times.
